UPDATE: CONED WORK ZONES IN WEST PARKING LOT AT RANCHO CUCAMONGA METROLINK STATION FOR GEOTECHNICAL TESTING
RANCHO CUCAMONGA (August 29, 2025) – Brightline West will conduct geotechnical boring and percolation testing at the Rancho Cucamonga Metrolink Station on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, and Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. To safely complete this work, crews will cone off nine work areas within the west parking lot. The west lot will remain open with reduced parking and traffic control in place.
Riders may continue to park in the west lot outside coned areas and are encouraged to use the east parking lot for additional capacity. On-site signage and flaggers will help direct motorists. No impacts to Metrolink train service are expected, but riders should allow extra time for parking and walking to the platform during work hours.
What to expect:
- Nine coned work areas within the west parking lot; reduced parking near cones.
- Temporary lane controls and flaggers to guide traffic.
- Posted signage directing drivers to available spaces and to the east lot.
- Typical daytime construction noise and activity.
Map: See the attached Rancho Cucamonga Station — West Lot Coned Work Zones (Sept. 15–16, 2025) for locations and access routes.
Note: Dates and times are subject to change. These operations are weather-dependent.
